I just watched an episode of "The Outer Limits" from the first season 1963-64, entitled 'The Special One' - A boy is being tutored by an alien with superhuman knowledge and powers - The boy's father finds his workbook in which the boy has recorded a table of 125 elements - The father confronts the boy with the fact that there are only 102 elements, and the boy tells him that there are 102 known elements and 23 unknown elements...

12:34 used to be the time i would always see when i would look at the clock at, or around bedtime. my ex used to set the time varying lengths ahead of "real" time, so it's not like i was always heading to bed at the exact same time. and i just got a very pleasant email tonight with that timestamp on it.

i get 12:34 a lot and also 1:11 and 4:20 (no kidding)

i was born at 4:44 and that seems to happen the most

but i have 23 chromosomes from each of my parents

big day for 23!
so i go to pick up my brother coz we're meeting ot go for dinner for his bday. he says, pick me up at 6pm at the corner of Davie & Hamilton (vancouver). From davie, turn left, and wait right there. This is in yaletown, where tehre is seldom any parking. I turn left, and voila, the immediate 1st parking spot is available, and i drive right into it thinking, yah, baby, then i look up a the parking meter, which is unusual in it's location, ie right in the middle ahead of me - how many minutes left in the meter? yep 23

And then! i come home, and i show my roomate this new sticker i got, which has a design on it inspired from a crop circle formation. she says huh? crop circle, she's never heard of them or seen them!
So i google it and show her some actual pics of deigns then close ups of people standing in them, etc. she is so overwhelmed and can't believe this is happening, and omg, she must learn more about this, this is something she feels and must study, etc etc.
So.... i go to the online library catalogue to see if i can get books on crop circles, and so i find the main crop cicrles category, anf guess what there are 23 titles in that catergory!
So then I find a first one and i click on one to have it sent to my branch, from the main branch, and it turns out I have 23 requests left on my card. HA!

Was driving this morning and looked down to see my odometer @ 123123 miles. That, and there were 23 posts to this thread as I started typing my response.
