I've had an affinity with the number 23 since I was about 11 years old. When I was 24, i started dating someone who was the first person who told me that there were others whose lives were pervaded by this number, though he didn't like talking about it for some reason. Soon afterwards I read about the 23 enigma on the internet and found this tribe.. up til then I thought it was just me. He also told me of a time in his life when he always looked at the clock at 12:34 and it drove him crazy. About a year before we broke up, the 12:34 thing started attacking me as well. 23s were everywhere during that time and in the months before we broke up, I would randomly (?) glance at the clock at both 12:34 am and 12:34 pm almost every day. One day, I asked my mom if she ever knew that I had a "thing" with 23 since I was a kid. She answered me "No, but the only thing I can think of is that it seems like every time I look at a digital clock, it's always 12:34.." Non-sequitur answer, but nonetheless, that's what she said. Keep in mind that my mother is NOT superstitious and I don't think she had any clue what she was saying would have any type of resonance with me.

Anyone else ever had a thing with 12:34 on the clock?
